Frequently asked questions
How many chambers should a good uPVC window have?
+
Five is today's standard; six or seven you will find in 82–88 mm profiles. More important than the chamber count itself are the profile depth and the glass unit — they decide the Uw of the whole window.
Can uPVC windows be ordered in a colour other than white?
+
Yes — a foil on one or both sides from the manufacturer's full palette. Any colour other than white is a surcharge, but the construction and performance of the window stay the same.
Can I deduct the purchase of uPVC windows from my tax?
+
When replacing windows in your own, occupied home — as a rule yes, under the Polish thermal modernisation relief of up to PLN 53,000 per person. Buying without installation, you deduct the real cost of the product. This is general information, not tax advice.
